The basic qualification to become an administrator is having an extended confirmed account: an account that has made 500 edits on Wikipedia and has 30 days of experience.
The nominations phase ends on July 15, 2025, to be followed by discussion and voting phrases. To vote, an editor must have an extended confirmed account, not be blocked site-wide, and be an actual human (“not be a bot”).
