The AI-Bridges Symposium, taking place in London on May 28-29, 2026, is convening in response to how AI-based platforms are sidestepping open knowledge and community-governed data platforms while “rapidly reshaping how knowledge is accessed, consumed, produced and reshared.”
The pre-symposium training day on May 28, will be both in-person and virtual, and offer basic training for both individuals and institutions, including: an intro to Wikidata; setting up a Wikibase; and GenAI-related solutions, such as the embedding project, and a Wikidata MCP.
